Different types of workshops are
offered:
1) "Singing as a Way"
is an initiation in the various aspects of the Dhrupad
vocal music (the aspects of Yoga,
of therapy, of pure music).
2) "Nada
Yoga - Singing as a way of selfknowledge" in
which the emphasis is on the aspects of Yoga and therapy in vocal
music.
3) "Dhrupad.
Going deeper - Sculpting silence"
in which the emphasis is on Dhrupad vocal music. This workshop
is meant for those who have already attended at least one workshop
on Dhrupad with me or with someone else, also for musicians.
4) "The Song of Silence" Listening
to silence, to its music and its voice. Experiencing inner silence
and the purity of sound which is born out of it.
5)
"The five Elements
in Music" How to balance the elements in us
through singing the Râga of Indian classical music which
belong to those elements and doing so restore or improve our
health.
6) “Taking Care of one’s Being” To
find the deep and original meaning of the
word therapy through singing.
Not only learning to heal oneself through singing,
but
also to heal others with sounds.
According to the kind of workshop you
will choose, you will learn to:
- Develop the qualities of your voice
- Control the breath gently (Prânâyâma)
- Take care of your (whole) self; which is the
meaning of the word "therapy" in Greek, it further means:
to serve, to heal, to worship
- Re-centre yourself in the Hara or Dantian
(the ocean of vital energy)
- Relax tensions, untie the knots of your being
- Experience the inner massage of your voice
- Heal others and yourself through sound massages
- Sound in physical movements and postures
- Develop your faculty of hearing
in order to listen to the sound of nature, to other people's
sound, to the sound of your soul
- Listen to the inner silence in which God
speaks and from which your voice rises pure and luminous
